displaying my results

when i click a button on form1, it generates a connection to the database and runs an sql to collect the record set.

my next problem is trying to display this information, i have been asked to let the user view the results in the following,
single records,
multiple records,
or parent child.

can anyone please help me? i dont know how to get the information to be shown.

Hi,

you could use:
- grids (FlexiGrid, MSHFlexGrid, DataGrid(last choice I'd say)
- ListView control
-combination of the aboce mentioned controls with ComboBoxes/Textboxes/...

The choice is up to you.

thanks but how do i link the data to the rs data?

how do i get the textboxes to only show certain attributes for the selected record?
