RowSet Not Bookmarkalbe

I am getting this error with regard to a datagrid control in VB 6. Can anyone explain what this means and how I could solve this problem??

Rowset not bookmarkable

I actually solved this problem myself in the meantime,it works when you put
rs.CursorLocation=adUseClient
before opening the recordset
