Quite a 'weird' problem...

Hey guys', I was just wondering if anybody out there could help me with this 'weird' problem I'm having...

Well, I have to program a database management system for my AS Computing cousre. Now, my programming skills are up to scratch (well I think anyways...) but the problem I'm facing is with my database. The story is I'm using Visual Data Manager for my data source.

I am using 'dtaNewCar.Recordset.AddNew for my adding. But when there is nothing in the database I get an error message. But when I enter data via Visual Data Manager it works. But it over writes...

Please help...
