informing user of printer error

I have an application where occasionally the system will lock up and the printers will not print. You can clear the spooler and the system is up and running again. When such an error occurs is there any way to display a message to the user explaining what has happened and include a list of things to look for to troubleshoot? Right now I only get an illegal operation error.

If you know in advance where the error occurs and what the error number is, you could trap it using the On Error statements.

I don't want to get into how to write an error handler if you already know how. Let me know if you need more help.
