Outlook Express

i am developing application for downloading emails to a default location on the hard disk. i am using default account in outlook express(which i have configured using tools-account-add-mail i.e wizard in outlook express) and mapi control for that purpose.

i want to give flexibility to the user to setup new mail account in outlook express and make it defult if he wants. and i want to achieve this by coding in vb6.

can i configure entirely new mail account in Outlook Express from vb6 coding? if yes please halp me with explanation in detail and codes if available.

As far as I know you can not do this by VB. Since Outlook Express not support Automation server. So you cannot create object on it. You can try with Microsoft Outlook, it's more convenient.
