decoding the phone caller number with modem application in vb

i have great project.i am trying to find the phone caller number in turkey..My idea is this if someone phone me, with modem properties i can find the caller number by the simple program done with visual basic...The main problems are computer's modem properties, the time that computer deals to decode the caller number... if someone enthusiastic with this project..we can share our ideas...In turkey there is not such a program...Therefore we can earn lost of money...But together...the thing is that first, i must know the code how to dial a number via visual basic buttons...There one microsoft phone dial but i can not see the codes...is there any program such that can be viewed as code...thanks for your response...my mail adress is e115286@metu.edu.tr

Good idea, but has a minor bug in it - if you're connected to the standard telephone line (something like Dial-Up), it will be near to impossible to get the callers number. For this, you will have to have some sort of digital connection (ISDN, ADSL,...)

Most phone line providers also give a called id service, usually coupled with their call waiting service. Check with telephone company....
