Neopets? eh?

Hmmm.... do any of you know what Neopets is? In that case, take a look at this.... [ deleted by moderator ] it's a little program that's very useful on neopets... except it's been disabled. do any of you programmers have any idea how to fix it? IF so, please post here!

1) I'm not downloading something I've heard of, especially not an exe with "mailer" in the filename.

2) Please explain the problem a little further.

3) It's hard to say since I have NO IDEA what this program does, but I suspect you want us to "crack" it for you. We are not hackers.

Please clarify your problem. And what does this have to do with VB?

No, decompiling is getting the source code.
Cracking is generally removing any limitations which have been placed on a shareware/crippleware program so that it runs like the fullversion.

Neopets is not something I ever wanted to try. It brought back horrible memories of those Tamagotchies or whatever. They were constantly like "Feed Me" "poo poo" etc. I had my first and last experience with digital pets right there.

I'm not sure what kind ot virtual pet YOU had, LordHelmut, but
MY Tamagotchi knew the following phrases:


"BEEP"
"BEEP BEEP"
And of course:
"BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEP"

My daughter had those things.

heh i anit that stupid :P i didnt see what he said...it was deleated...i thought it was something that he was trying to "crack" e.g. get the source code...heh. O.o so what he posted was like a freewear neopets program thingy ma boober...?

personally i wouldn't download any unknown exe anymore. The last time I did it screwed up my registration data, corrupted by anti virus, and gave me 511 infection one of which was in the explorer.exe.

So I had to format the HD and then 3 week later (yesterday to be precise) I was banned by my ISP for being one of the causes of the bearbug/klez virus turnup last month. Fortunately they restored my account today.

If its a mailer program, then i'm guessing its either a mail bomber, trojan, or a better version of that thing which signs your friends up and you get points

....i say what the hell and download them...my virus softwear doesnt let me open it if it is a virus...but i know a friend got one where everytime you hit control+alt+del there are all these poro popups....O.o and one time i edited my registry so that when you hit start shut down it says like that command could not be compleated etc.....but then i forgot what i edited :-o so i was skrewed....its alil off topic but...meh

Funny you should say that, I was messing with vb to find a descent resolution changer and I accidently managed to lock all commands including Ctrl+Alt+Del and yet the program still ran and the mouse worked. I keep meaning to try it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke
