Who's online

I spotted this in the who's online listing:
Guest Editing Post 01:05 AM 194.181.35.6
I was just curious about how this can happen. I didn't think that non-registered users could even make posts, let alone edit them.

BTW, any news on the random read/unread thread status problem. Its nowhere near as bad as it was when you switched to the new software but it is still there.

I believe that people who choose to be anonymous in their profile are not totally hidden, they're shown as guests. It could also be that some guest just pressed the 'edit post' button and got to the access denied page -- that still updates Who's Online. If I saw a mod in the mods forum, clicked the link and went back to who's online, it would say "VolteFace Viewing Forum Moderators Only".

I didn't know about the hidden users showing up as guests thing.

However, I didn't think that guests even got an edit button.
