Hi i need to know something about phone control

Firstly i am making a answering machine sorta program and i have made most of it. I need to know how do i make the application answer or the modem whatever. I am using the Microsoft telephony control. Also on the modem answering i want it to play a message or do this
phone1.speak "Hello we cannot come to the phone at the moment please leave a message after the beep"
Would that actually work? would it actually send that to the caller or not can u please suggest something else if it won't work.

you would need to be able to record the message to a sound file like an mp3 and then you can use a multimedia control to play it back through the telephony control and through the modem. i don't know anything about the control but i presume that you can do this
