Hi question about DNS

Hi basically i wanna know if it is possible to make an application that makes this name irc.james.net.au lead to me ip so when i am running an irc server which i am the server is doman.dynip.com on port 6667 i want the application to lead irc.james.net.au to my ip so all people need to do is type irc.james.net.au to connect to me server instead of my ip. I don't want someone have to remotely host that kinda thing.

Which Dynamic DNS service are you using?
Just find out the connection string for that service and then get back to me.
