My neighbors used to put on an awesome 4th of July party. They'd have about 100+ guests, a mini fireworks display, more food then I've seen anywhere else in my life (hot dogs, hamburgers, whole pigs, steak, cake, pie, potato salad, corn bread, cole slaw, ... the list goes on and on and on). Then of course everybody who comes brings a dish or some drinks and before you know it, theres 1/3 of an acre of property covered with tables of food and drink.

Too bad they moved away this year :( .

Well, In Venezuela, independence day is not as much a display of fireworks your independence day, but we have an advantage this year. Venezuela's independence day is July 5th, and it's on Monday, and that means no work, and long weekend. :D

I have monday off even though it's the 5th. Happy Friday and enjoy your 3-day weekend if you have it. :D

It's fun to say I have a 3-day weekend even if it's likely that I'll dial in and do some work. :-\
