What happened to BillSoo?

Where has BillSoo been? I haven't seen him post anything in a couple of months now, did he leave this forum or something?

No-one knows. Last I heard, he was moving, but that was like two months ago. I wonder if he'll ever come back. I miss Bill. :(

I got a PM from him a long time ago. He's extremely busy moving, finding a new job, settling in to his new home, etc. He should be back, but it'll be a while.

Oh, I didn't even know he was moving, and I miss him too, but where everything you would Think BillSoo says, it now says Thinker in it's place. I like Thinker, and I think it's kinda funny how since BillSoo can't get on much anymore, we have a substitue for him, I guess it's the justice of Fate, lol...If you get to read this, good luck in your new home, Bill.

I'm sure I saw BillSoo prowling around the forum the other day.. maybe the new software is too much for his old circuits to cope with :D

But seriously, I miss his educated and well thought out replies, even to questions the keenest new member wouldn't stoop to answer. But mostly I think the forum is missing that Obi-Wan-like sense of calm he seemed to instill..

Maybe he got tired of the handle "BillSoo" and now he is using "Thinker" as his handle:D

As seen on Who's Online. I seem to remember Bill being anonymous in the Who's Online page. Hmmm....

Either that or there's a serious flaw in the software. :D

As you can see, I'm back!

This happened last year too...

I lost my job for a few months and I eventually dropped off the group.

But now I have a new job and I'm back in the game.

I think dropping out was a symptom of depression...

Anyway, I would have been back sooner but I lost my password. In addition, I lost my e-mail address because @home went out of business. So I couldn't get the server to send me a password.

So I finally just logged in under a new name (BSoo) and PMed Thinker. He changed my address for me and so I was finally able to log in.

The new format looks nice, but it is unfamiliar. It'll take some getting used to.

We seem to have a lot more activity now as well. Good news for the most part but it has it's dangers as well.

Anyway, thanks again for thinking of me while I was gone.

At one point, I had as many posts as the next 3 guys combined. I doubt that that is attainable any longer (for anyone), not just because of Thinker but because ALL of you are posting more.

Well, I never imagined this post would come back to life after like, 4 months. Yeah Bill, people have been posting a lot more. I'll tell you what, I just got on and started scrolling down, and I saw "BillSoo", and almost did a double take, lol. I couldn't believe it. But oh well, yeah, the new look of the forums is pretty easy to get used to, though.
