I believe I'm now ready to get some coding jobs, so I've been looking at rent-a-coder. Is there any other site like this any of you know about? Also, if any of you use rent a coder, do you this is a good oppurtunity?

For the purchaser it's a great opportunity. A warehouse catalog and inventory system for 45 bucks? Yeah, I'd go with them.
I think, as a coder, Rent-A-Coder only works in certain countries where you the American Dollar is valued very highly.
As a programmer do you want to make 50 bucks a project? An Enterprise solution for $100?
If you're that hardup for cash get a retail job. If you don't care about the cash so much and you're just looking for experience... umm... I don't know that I'd want experience of being taken advantage of.
I say give it a look. IF something catches your eye and you feel it's worth the trouble, then no harm, no foul. When I personally looked into it, it was really low pay for fairly specified projects.
I hear it's a lot of kids who need their homework done and outsourcing programmers who pay someone 100 to write the app, then run over it and fix it up and resell it for a few times what they paid.
