Hi,
My favorites links in internet explorer has been growing to large now, and I can't really find links that I know i have. I also have lots of double links.
What is the best link manager program out there? What have you tested?
I want to have the following functions:
- Search
- Finding duplicates
- Perhaps also syncronization with other computers (I have tested 'favorite_sync', but I soon get rid of it, Almost lost a lot of good links)
- Easy to use.
I know it's very tempting to write one, but I want to sort my links now, not in 100 years or so...

The Delete key? I mean, really, how many URLs can you possibly need before you have so many that you can't find anything (without finding it via Google faster). This would seem especially true if you're adding so many favorites that you're worrying about duplicating links you already have or are needing to search your favorites! :chuckle:
On a more serious note - I always use a custom home page and build up the page to organize the links I use. These days I'm using somewhat simple pages as I get sick of the clutter and decided to only keep track of links I actually use. What I usually do is add things to favorites and every once in a while I clean up and review my favorites to see if I really want them - and if I do I either put em in a folder in favorites or add them to my custom home page. In the past I've created more of a home page application that included link management and display (which my wife is still using).
So, I'd recommend making your own home page as a web application, including link management and whatever other features you like. Not only will it do exactly what you want but it's a fun little programming exercise.

Ok Paul, you sold me on the idea. Wonder what my boss will think when I tell him, "Sorry can't work on that project today Mike, I'm building my home page link manager web app today." The funny thing is he'd probably be fine with it. ;)

Well maybe I'm a collector....
The best solution is maybe a simple tool that search for duplicates, and arrange the favorites in folders, and then put them back in the internet explorers favorite directory.
And have them on a web page is probably the easiest sync feature to use also.
