Hello all,
I am doing a project in electronics, and need some suggestions on what I could possibly do, cause I can't think of anything I would like to do right now. The project is basically, think of something that isn't readily buyable, possibly new idea, and design the circuit board for it. It can use anything, i've always wanted to use the serial port to controll or do something so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions at all, any are appreciated. If anyone has an idea that doesn't involve the computer, that is welcome to very much so, the more I have to choose from the easier my job will be. Basically, I am to self teach myself what i don't know yet from manuals, books, etc etc, with help of a teacher from a local college and my class teacher to guide me, so it is going to be a fun challenge that i will do for about 3 hr daily till january, so i have lots of time to work on it. Thanx in advance for any ideas anyone might have.
one i am toying with is calling into your house, entering a pin number via phone, and turning on the lights, or unlocking a door. or a lock that uses motion sensers in an order to unlock. and one for the comp that measures the temp of the air around the computer, and a program on the comp turns on a fan via serial port or whatever to 'cool' down the user, my ideas need work lol i know, but that is my starting point right there.
