Where's Google !?!?!

Sept. 13, 2004 at 1:22 PM, our hero, the millionaire (in MBs) HardCode, set forth upon another death-defying mission to search the web for information. He slid down the IDE cable to the FAT32 Cave, doning his neat stockings and shiny satin mask. In a tidal turn of events, our Masked Typer finds that someone stole the 'G', the 'L' and the 'E' from the supercomputer! This looks like a job for mighty, mighty Mighty Coder!!!!

Speaking of google, I refer anyone who does not use google to this webpage. Also, I invite anyone who posts a question before researching google for an answer to take a look. :chuckle:

Aw Man!

I thought this was going to be like a "Where's Waldo" thread.

Seems to me they were probably making some kind of upgrade that required bringing the search engine down, and decided to leave a placeholder image to help control the "OH NOES GOOGLE IS 404" traffic the internet would experience ;).

*edit* Still using FAT32? For shame! NTFS is the way, the truth, and the light. ;)

OK, it is 6:46 pm, on 9/14/2004, this is what google looks like to me right now (see attached picture). I did not edit the image. Someone has now stolen the two o's! Better find them fast HardCode :huh:
