Update after Deployment

I have an application that has already been deployed. Does anyone know how to update this application?

I would hate to have all the users re-install an updated version on each computer.

Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

Is there a way to just have the .exe file on a server? I know that is what my company would do when they developed in VB6. However if I put out a .exe file I get the following error:

"The Application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. The operation required the SecurityException. To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator, or use the Microsoft .NET security policy administration tool.


Any ideas?
