I once found myself in a ketchup vs mustard argument and thought of an even more clever way to waste time :)

Stupid Poll: Hot dog toppingsnoi_max 10-07-2004, 12:52 PM I once found myself in a ketchup vs mustard argument and thought of an even more clever way to waste time :) http://www.gatewaylinks.com/AHOE/tf-133.gif 00100b 10-07-2004, 02:18 PM Your missing a few condiments that I like on my hot dogs (when I wasn't on my diet). Chili, Cheese, Onions, Sliced garlic dill pickles, and Tums. The latter not on the hot dog but more of a hot dog chaser. herilane 10-07-2004, 02:29 PM And you're missing a "I don't eat hot dogs" option :) NateO 10-07-2004, 02:36 PM I once found myself in a ketchup vs mustard argument and thought of an even more clever way to waste time :) Which side did you take? You gotta have both! :) The poll reminds me of Posse In Effect: You're a fake wearin' sucker whose gold got rusted Cheaper than a hot dog with no mustard That's pretty cheap! :D OnErr0r 10-07-2004, 05:18 PM And you're missing a "I don't eat hot dogs" option :) ah.. so.. you have something against animal lips? (no pun intended) noi_max 10-07-2004, 05:19 PM Well, so far my side of the argument is winning (mustard) :) I actually like all the different ways, including with cheese, as 00100b had mentioned. Another good way to eat them is off the grill. (I especially like them when the outside of them have almost turned black.) :D Rashka 10-07-2004, 06:14 PM Theres this local place here in Toledo that I have come to love for their hotdogs. Max, you left off the best ingredient combo...Chilli-Cheese-Ketchup-and Grease! Man Netty's, the local place, serves them up the best. I can only eat two at a time before serious heartburn kicks in. Everytime I eat two real fast (have to eat them fast or they will eat you!) I think I am going to need a triple bypass! They are that strong, I'm telling ya, if you ever get the chance, you have to get some! Another local joint that has good hotdogs is Rudy's. Just as good as Netty's, just not so much grease in the chilli. Just as much killer heart burn though! The grease is in the chilli, just so you know. The heartburn is killer, and hurts like a ..! But it tastes so good, that it somehow feels good too :-\ :p EracMan 10-07-2004, 06:20 PM If you are ever in the L.A. area, I would Recommend Pink's Hot Dogs (www.pinkshollywood.com). they're better when you replace the hot dog with a sausage. Their "Harry Potter Dog" is pretty tasty! :D Um....I'm hungry.... Rashka 10-07-2004, 06:32 PM Um....I'm hungry.... Same feelings here...I am going to go grab some food... webbone 10-07-2004, 07:09 PM If you are ever in the L.A. area, I would Recommend Pink's Hot Dogs (www.pinkshollywood.com). they're better when you replace the hot dog with a sausage. Their "Harry Potter Dog" is pretty tasty! :D Um....I'm hungry.... One of these days I HAVE to get there - have seen a piece on them on FoodTV... looks fun and sounds tasty! Ever seen any stars driving up for a dog? italkid 10-08-2004, 05:49 AM I never bite dogs... :-\ 00100b 10-08-2004, 05:51 AM I never bite dogs... :-\ Not even if they bite first? italkid 10-08-2004, 05:59 AM Not even if they bite first? Nope...they are usually too hairy...bah :-\ EracMan 10-08-2004, 09:41 AM Ever seen any stars driving up for a dog?Unfortunately no, but a lot of celebs have their signed photos, on the walls. (E.g. Jay Leno, Rosie O'donnell, etc.) Faile 10-08-2004, 09:57 AM Your missing a few condiments that I like on my hot dogs (when I wasn't on my diet). Chili, Cheese, Onions, Sliced garlic dill pickles, and Tums. The latter not on the hot dog but more of a hot dog chaser. Also missed... Mayo! Nothing better than Ketchup, Mayo, Relish, and Kraut on a hotdog! Of course, just Ketchup and sliced dills will do in a pinch. wayneph 10-08-2004, 10:25 AM yeah, cheese is also a necessity. i don't think there are many meals that cheese isn't included in the menu somewhere. :) jjStinger72 10-08-2004, 11:39 AM I've been 'round the country, and 'round the world. Nuthin compares to a Sahlen's Dog char grilled up (on charcoal of course) at Ted's here in Buffalo. Ancient chineese secret... They keep the Kraut in the back. just gotta know to ask :) webbone 10-10-2004, 01:20 AM Ok, so who voted for Ketchup on a regular hot dog?! yeech... that should only be for on Corn Dogs! :whoops: Rashka 10-10-2004, 01:24 AM Sometimes, I like ketchup only on a hotdog. Yum! ;) |
