What would be the point in this? I wouldn't want a program messing with my systray. I am just curious.

ohh cool no worries, that reason why i want this is becuase i have heaps of programs down there (anti virus, firewall, windows crap, other programs) and the hide inactive thingy doesnt hide them, there still there, and most of these programs i never have to click on, so it doesnt really serve any purpose of it being there, and i cant find a way in the actual program to turn the systray icon off, so i was just wondering if i could get some code that would turn them off and on again IF i needed to access the program.

look, what i want it for is so i can have kazaa running without anyone knowing, now if i put kazaa to the systray and then hide it, its going to be very hard for someone to know its there. if one of my sisters finds kazaa running, then there going to start downloading a million and one things which means i have to do the cleaning of viruses (which is a pain in the...), thats what i would like this for.

Why don't you just log out when you are done with your computer, and have a seperate profile for your sister? (Although, that depends on what OS you have - but I know for a fact anything 98SE and later can do this...) Or you could just exit and not leave it running... *shrug* Or even better, not use KaZaA...
