encrypting text in a db?

Is it possible to encrypt data thats pulled in and pulled out of a database?

sure... encrypt the text before you store it in the database. Decrypt it when you querty the data.

Ya know, after I posted this, I realized thats all I had to do :)

had yesterday off so today is techinically my "Monday"!
