Loops in Crystal Report 9.0

Hi,
is it possible that i sum up a value in a group footer with a loop. for example i have a group in group footer i have a calculated field, now i want that in report footer i make a formula and sum every value of that group footer's field through a loop. can we create a loop which read through a group not record.

You're in luck. Crystal 9 has the functionality to implement code loops within formula or CR natively. The syntax is:

NumberVar Counter:=1;

Loop
MyField:=MyField+(Mid({myTable.myField},Counter,1);
