Crystal Report Orientation

I have Crystal Reports 9 and have a report that needs to be in Landscape mode.

I clicked on the 'File' menu and then selected 'Printer Setup' and then changed the Orientation to Landscape. At this point the report is in Landscape mode. The scroll bars appear and everything is fine.

But the next time I load the report the the Orientation is back to Portrait.

Is there a way to save the orientation with the report?

Once you change the orientation of the report save the report. It should open up as landscape the next time.

I changed the orientation of the report by going into printer setup and then saved the report. But the next time I opened the report it is back in landscape mode.

Is there a different way to change the orientation of the report?

try this in your program (VB.NET in this case):


rpt.PrintOptions.PaperOrientation = CrystalDecisions.[Shared].PaperOrientation.Landscape (or portrait)

I'm using VB6 and the Report Viewer.

The following line of code has no effect:

Report.PaperOrientation = crLandscape

But the following line

Report.PrinterSetup (0)

brings up the dialog box that allows the user to change the orientation to landscape. Then the report prints properly.
