Irc

From what I have read, there is an IRC channel for this forum. What do I need to get on to this, my addiction to this forum is getting out of control and I have no clue about IRC other than the fact that it stands for Internet Relay Chat forgive me for this, I am usually not much for IM or CHAT as I hate people sending me messages when I am doing something on-line, which is the only reason I used to go on-line till I found this forum :D
