Using BitBlt with vb.net

Was wondering if anyone knew of, or could give me some pointers on using BitBlt for making a side scroller game. Every example program that I find is always for VB 6. I just been a simple example of a small picture moving across a form and a basic explanation of how it works. I can pick it apart and figure it out pretty much by myself if someone could just get me started. Thanks for any help. :D

1 - The .NET forums will help you more with .NET problems than the Legacy VB forums.

2 - Why do you want to use BitBlt in VB.NET instead of the built in Graphics Drawing capabilities with GDI+?
