Problem saving and compiling a Korean language project in VB.NET English

Hello All,

I'm using VB.NET 2003 English on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 English (With Korean fonts and language support installed). Now I'm trying to change the text of my buttons to Korean and compile them. Here's what I do:

1. Change the text of the button to Korean:

2. Save the form using "Save As" then choosing the "Korean - Codepage 949" Encoding.

Now everything seems to work fine, but when I close the form and open it again, I get this instead of the Korean text:

What am I doing wrong here?

How are you readiing the text from the file? You are going to have to set the Unicode encoding in order to read Korean characters. :)
