Hi everyone,
I have a price list formatted as excel workbook. A sample view of it you can find at
http://www.geocities.com/mumick2003/. I'd like to take column "A" and copy/paste model name to the empty cells below it until you hit next model name and do the same for it. I have 5000 records and I need to automate this process some how.

To understand the basics, I would have a read of these two:

(1) VB.Net Office Automation FAQ (http://www.visualbasicforum.com/showthread.php?t=160459)
(2) Automating Office Programs with VB.Net / COM Interop (http://www.xtremevbtalk.com/showthread.php?t=160433)

Once you digested these (particularly the Automation Tutorial) we can talk about what exactly you need done... and how to do it. :)

However, if that is the only task your application will need to do, then I would advise you to use Excel VBA and not .Net for it.
