Hi,
I have a good knowledge of vbasic .NET but I have a question. How can I make my applications look like Office Xp or 2003 (toolbars mainly). I use .manifest files to achieve WinXp interface but things seem different with Office. Any ideas?
Thanks

Sorry for my late responses in advance but teachers at school just do not understand...

To have the office style you must use custom controls such as the ones from divil or the ones from janus. (there are more, but those r the two ive used)

http://www.divil.co.uk //these are good, but not as many controls, or as feature rich as janus... very good design time support

http://www.janusys.net //very nice, bit more memory usage, but lots more controls, and a lot more useful features

divil's are free for non-commercial apps, and not very expensive if you do want to use them for commercial apps, while janus's are more expensive... i bought the janus ones, and i don't regret it a bit

download and try the trials of both before you decide to get one or the other... divils design time support is just awesome, and it makes them so easy to use
