Treeview Control Redraw?

I have a treeview control and it is filled as the user wants.
Everytime I clear this control and add new nodes the control is redrawing itself. I would like to avoid this action this the treeview is filled up, is it possible? (i mean, like the Redraw property for Flexgrid Control) :confused:

yes, thats what i finally did cause i didnt find anything at all.
I just have a shape control that looks like the treeview (cause it is flat and background is white) cause my boss didnt want the treeview control to dissapear (filling the treeview could take a few min)
