I'v created a program using VB 6 and works fine on my Windows 2000 machine. However, when used on a computer with Windows XP some of the Backcolors appear different. Does anyone have any idea as to what may be causing this and how to fix it? Thanks in advance for any help.

I think it simply has to do with the system colors.
Are you using the color palette to set the backcolors?

No, I am using the System colors to set the backcolors. Do systems colors vary?

Yes they can.
For example, the system color "Button Face" takes after the "3D objects" set in the Desktop Appearance option.
In XP, if you right click on the desktop and choose properties, click the Appearance tab.
From there, choose "Advanced" and you'll see some new choices.
In the "Items" combo, you'll see different things you can change, with 3-D objects at the top of the list.
Probably the best solution to this is to use the pallete, if you want the colors to be similar between the operating systems.

Awesome, I'll start using the color palette from now on. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!
