Transperant a part of the form?

Hi every body:

I need a help to make an area of the form transperant. By coloring the background of the form with one color and use another one for the body of the form then by using something I can make the first color transoerant, and thus the form will appear through the other color.

I think the pic I attached here will help alot in anderstanding what I mean.
I really need your help and thanks alot in advance.

Perhaps this Transparent Form Background tutorial (http://www.thescarms.com/vbasic/ClearForm.asp) can help. It involves the API but is very good.
