saving embedded documents

Hi, I'm trying to save office documents, such as doc and xls files, which are embedded into word documents. The oleformat.classtype of the embedded files is "outlook.fileattach"

I don't really want to do a DoVerb command or mess with windows in general. All I need to do is save these attachments so I don't want to go through the hassle and overhead of openning the file. I refuse to believe that you can do a object.SaveAs command on normal attachments but not on outlook attachments.

I'm not sure that I'm the right guy to help you out here... But to clarify for those that might be the right guy: could you explain a bit? Do you have an Outlook attachment in Word? (That sounds weird, no?) Or you have Word & or XLS files embedded in an Outlook file?

Forgive me if this question makes me sound clueless, for I'm no good at Word nor Outlook, but maybe you could clarify this a bit more?
