does anyone know of a site with tutorials for direct play?

If it doesn't bother you that this site is in Italian, then here http://robydx.135.it/ it has all kind of DirectX tutorials, and samples.. so if you're not good in Italian atleast the samples might help you. ;)

Using the above site I have found that using www.freetranslation.com helps immensely :-) A very resourceful site.

i just tried that with the translator, but it doesnt translate very well so does anyone know any other sites?

Well, the translator will give you a rough idea of what he is saying. There is also this link to the site which has some english translations on it:

I remember translating one of his tutorials one day for him, I completely forgot which one though - I learned a bit of italian ;).

Microsoft is about to depreciate Direct Play. They are going to puch System.Net and Indigo as the way to do multiplayer games.
