Format textboxes

I want to be able to enter any number into a textbox in the following format 12.12 or 2.00 or -3.00

It has to show two digits after the decimal seperator and also allow negative numbers.

I also want to show the decimal seperator for the users regional settings.

Look up Format

do you have any idea how do I know the decimal separator is "." or ","?

Format$(somevalue, "#,##0.00") Will display at least the 3 digits (where the 0's are) and the period. Any leading zeros before the first one specified will be blanked out.

Format$(somevalue, "0,000.00") Will allways display all 6 digits wether there are leading zeros or not.
