Accessing XP Services

hi everyone

i need to access windows xp's services from VB6, to see if a service is running or not, starting, stopping, and setting the startup option for any service. is this possible, is there an API or something for that?

You need to use the EnumServicesStatus() API. I recommend you take a look at the Wrox book: Professional NT Services
