dependency version number conflict

I have two projects within a solution which both use a dll I created in another project.
Because I have a couple of versions of this dll I have inadvertantly attached different versions of the dll as dependencies on each project.

Then when I create the Installation project to package and deploy - I get an error saying the dependency cannot be copied to the run directory because it would conflict etc. etc.

I have tried getting rid of the dependency in both projects and starting again but that doesn't work!!!

Any ideas????

What do you mean by it doesn't work? You should be able to get rid of dependancies just fine. What happens when you try?
