Visual Basic 2005 Publishing Error

After creating an application using Visual Basic 2005, I published it without any error but when I try to open the "Setup.exe" file, I get an error.

The error reads:
Application Failed
Unable to activate the application. Please contact the
application publisher.

Any help on this will greatly be appreciated.

I don't think I've heard of such an error, which may have something to do with VB.net 2005 which I don't have. But to see, could you post a screen shot of the error?

I've too got this error when my publishing version was above 1.0.0.10.
