IIS 5.0 Not recognised

I jyst got given a new PC at work, using Windows 2000. I have set up IIS 5.0 on it so that I can carry on creating IIS applications in Visual Basic 6.0 but it doesn't seem to recognise that I have installed it, and won't therefore let me create IIS applications. I never had this problem with IIS 4.0 dammit. :-(

Any ideas welcomed. It is probably just me being a ****. It has been one of those days!

setting up/configuring IIS5 than programming in VB.

Does IIS show up in the services panel? What version of Win2k are you running (ie Professioal, server, adv server)?
