I don't understand, I have VB6 and I installed it with their install package. You cannot just install the DLL.

Try this

unzip the .dll file in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98

then go to dos prompt and type

cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98

now type

regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\MZTools3.dll

This is what i did and it worked for me

Good Luck with it

regsvr32 mztools3.dll and it registered it....but the help install file that comes with it says you can do it from anywhere....oh well fixed it thanks.....

A good trick I learned some time ago.... because the command prompt is so quirky sometimes...

- Create a shortcut to regsvr32.exe and just leave it on your desktop

- Do a search on your system and find the dll you want to register

- Drag the dll with the mouse and drop it on the regsvr32 icon on your desktop

Bingo!
