Colour Wheel

Hi,

I am interested in making a Colour Wheel program I can use to:

- Find out the Hex, RGB, CKYM values of a colour that I click on
- Find out its complimentary colour (opposite)

Now I'm relatively new to using the GDI+ and was able to create a circle on my form with the drawellipse() method.

Now.. to start out basic I want to draw primary colours and the secondary colours in the circle as solid colours (pie like)

I looked over at the legacy section and saw that someone wanted to do relatively the same thing and I am lookin over the code. I am unsure as to how it works. Their example show the circle with the gradients and the colours all blending together. http://www.xtremevbtalk.com/showthread.php?t=179965&highlight=color+picker

I am trying to start with a basic - websafe format. I understand that websafe colours are those that can be taken into a 3 hex type value. So #ff0000 can be represented as #f00, #ff88cc can be represented as #f8c etc.

What should my next step be? I guess to figure out how to set up the primary and secondary colours in this circle I have drawn?

Guidence is welcomed and so are examples.
