Merge PDF Files

Does anyone have some code that will merge two (or more) pdf files in to one pdf file?

I don't know for sure but I imagine that if you bought the Adobe distiller (Is that what they call it?) That you would get an ActiveX control that would allow you to automate many of its functions. Check with Adobe though as I might be wrong.

I do know that they provide a ActiveX control with their Acrobat Viewer that is very usefull for printing and viewing.

There's a standalone app called pdf toolkit (pdftk) available for free which, which among other things, can join multiple pdf's into one. You would need to shell out to it from VB, with appropriate command line settings. It's available at

Thanks folks - I have the professional version of Adobe - I should have looked for an ocx. I also will investigate the shell. That would probably be easiest.
