Heya all. My first post about .Net go me lol. My problem is how to make a picturebox semi transparent? It loads a picture which im using as a menu thing (technical arent I) and i want to be able to set it as semi transparent so that the details which it covers can still be made out. Anybody willing to lend there insight? thanks in advance,

You should really use GDI+ if you want full control over how things are in appearance. Using a control is limited and in .NET, pictureboxes cannot be truly transparent, much less translucent (semi transparent).
