Hi~

Currently I'm making a game engine that was made with VB 6 in DirectX 8. It works well and is almost done.

There you can find pictures. Point is, I was recently going to upgrade the project to Windows Vista. To do this I had to upgrade to VS2005. Well I know VB 8 pretty well now and read two books on it. I think I'm ready to upgrade, but I wanted to know if there was any way of keeping DirectX 8 with my engine. I want to upgrade eventually but I haven't found ANY tutorials using DirectX 9 in Visual Basic 8. The only tutorials I've found are for C#, and this doesn't help me. Even the SDK is in C# >.>;;

I wouldn't mind upgrading to 9, but I really don't know how. I also don't want to have to learn C# just because there aren't any samples for VB online :[

Anyone got any ideas, tutorials, help corners. O_o;;;;; I would love to know how to DX8 in VB.net!
