i have office 2000 and seem to have lost the vb help files. i had office reloaded a while back and i remember them being there.
the office help files are present, but when in the vb editor for excel, access, word, powerpoint the msg box says they are not installed.
where can i get them? can i get them?
excel and access are my major concern.
what are their file names? then i can search for them.
obviously i don't have a disk.
thanks

They should be on your original installation CD.
Why don't you have the CD anymore?

...it is a used laptop.
i upgraded to a larger hd and more ram and had office 2000 reinstalled and remember checking that the vb help files were there, i think.
can you tell me the name of the files and then i can do a search for them on the web or ftp or...
i sure need those files.

Better read the posting guidelines (http://visualbasicforum.com/announcement.php?s=&forumid=7) first before asking something illegal!

i don't want anyone to send them to me.

There are no "files" to download. MSDN is an extremely large (3 CD) installation. Contact MicroSoft with your Visual studio license key to order a new set.
