Hi All!

I recently upgraded from VS2003 to VS2005 and now seem to be experiencing a funny problem. I've set all my progress bar forecolors to gold. However, after the upgrade, all the progress bar forecolors are green at runtime, no matter what value I've set during design time. Is this a bug in VS2005? I REALLY want my progress bar forecolors to be gold.

For clarification, how were you changing the colors of the progressbar in 2003?

Two ways:
I set the forecolor parameter at design time.
I set the forecolor parameter at runtime in the formload event.

It's an XP styling issue. Check out this thread for more: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=448830&SiteId=1

JNewt,

Thanks for the help. I had found that link when I was investigating this issue, but thought that the solutions were way too much of a hassle just to get the progressbar forecolor parameter to respond as expect. Thanx again!
