Vector Images - Where should i Start

Hello,
I would like to start to learn how to draw vector images using VB.NET
I would like to code the coordinates in and see what happends.

If someone could point me in the right direction on what i should google or any controls i should look for that would be great.

I don't know anything about Vector graphics file formats so I can't help you there. But I would imagine that since vector graphics are drawn using co-ordinates, your best chance would be to use the Graphics object. This provides functionality for drawing all sorts of shapes.

Never used it, but there is a class (Drawing.Imaging.Metafile) which allows loading and rendering of Metafile images (a vector image format). You could also build some custom classes and use GDI+'s DrawLine, DrawEllipse, etc. Depends on what you'd like to do...
