Installation Error from PDW

I used the Package & Deployment Wizard as an "Add-in" since it would not load from Components. I went through the process to create the new application. After I click on the new "setup.exe" I receive an error message:

"C:\WINNT\SETUP.LST ... Invalid line in setup information file! Section: Setup1 Files @ DAO350.DLL,$(MSDAOPath),$(DLLSelfRegister),$(Shared),6/1/98 1:00:00 AM,618496,3.51.1027.0"

What do I do? Thanks.

Do you get the same error if you create the setup with PDW in standalone mode ?

did you "Add" DAO350.DLL to your package (setup) yourself or did the wizard do it?

You probably need to include some version of mdac_typ.exe in
your setup. However, DAO350.dll is so old, that I think you might
have to go back to mdac version 2.1. Either way, I assume the
error is saying that it can't discover what $(MSDAOPath) is
because no DAO components have ever been installed on the
target computer before. Just an educated guess.

During the PWD session, I deselected the DAO3032.DLL and the setup.exe went fine.
