1) can someone point me to some resources on how, lets say, if i have a nav bar on a webpage with plain text as links, to make them light up on mouse over?

2) similarly, if i have pics as links on a nav bar, how to swap those on mouse over? i know how to do s single image with one function per image, but for multi do you have to have one per image?

thanks - any good links/tutorials would be great

1.) You can use CSS to make links do stuff when hovered. Just add something like this to a CSS tag in the page (I can't remember how to do the CSS tag off the top of my head), the A:hover is the essential part:

A:Link, A:visited, A:active
{
color:Navy;
text-decoration:underline;
}

A:Hover
{
background:Navy;
color:white;
text-decoration:underline;
}

2.) Look at the source code for any page that has the rollovers, they're all pretty much the same.
