Hi there!
It's been a long time since my last post! Nice to be here again!
But I'm here again 'cause I'm having problems with Windows Vista and Visual Studio 6. :D
What I'm finding is that the form editor (dragging controls, selecting various of them, etc...) is very very very slow. I don't know if it's because of Windows Vista or... I don't know.
Anybody else has tested Studio 6 under Vista? Is there any solution?

Thanks!!

I'll be testing VB6 under Vista today, so we'll see. Could this be a RAM issue? What version of Vista are you running?

I don't think it could be a RAM issue. In XP it goes perfectly OK. I've got 2GB installed, so...
I'm running the Ultimate version.
Tell me what you discover! :)

I discover this: it could be an Aero issue. I was running VB6 and it was running slower than ever. But I launched the PowerDVD application to watch a movie while programming. A message appeared telling me that "the Aero system was disabled", because of PowerDVD I guess. Then VB6 was running as fast as always. I closed the PowerDVD and VB6 returned going slow.
Do you know if the Aero can be disabled for a specific application, as the "PerApplication" of WindowBlinds??
