Hello!
I was wondering if Visual Basic ( and Visual c++ ) 6 Professional works under Windows 2000 Professional? And if it does, does it work normally or does it have any problems?
Best Regards
Mercury

Yes, it works. You could have found this out in the
requirements of the product.
One great advantage is that if the program your
making crashes, just VB will close and you want
have to restart the whole computer. :)

Many people recommend using 2K as a development platform over other verions, due to its stability and reliability.

I set up vb6 pro under win 2k as local admin, logged in with an account that had admin rights and parts were missing. I removed it and re-installed under my normal account and everything works fine now. I also installed vb6 enterprise at work on a win 2k machine. It works great also

I have VB and VC (both 6 Pro) installed on 2K, no problems whatsoever. In fact, I like it a lot more than I did on 98...
