You can use GetVersionEx (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms724451.aspx) to determine the OS.

If your program doesn't work, it's Vista.

Thanks for the replies. GetVersionEx seems to do it.

I guessed I lucked out, because only a couple subroutines of my app need to be re-coded for Vista.
